Bulgari

There it was, sitting on the bathroom counter with a fragrance that filled the entire hotel room. It was a scent that I had never smelled before and it was wonderful. As I stood in the Mandalay Bay hotel room bathroom I knew I was in love. I quickly devoured the Bulgari soap, shampoo, and shower gel. The next day, like magic, there were more Bulgari soaps on the counter. Each day they arrived I quickly stored them in my suitcase and hoped that the maid would not discover my stash. I was saddened to find out much later after using up all of my hotel samples that Bulgari soap was NOT cheap. So now I occasionally receive Bulgari soaps as gifts for birthdays, Christmas, etc. The new Bulgari items below were a gift from my father-in-law and I'm so thankful. Everytime I get Bulgari soap I'm carried away back to Vegas.

The Barry's part two

So as I promised I am posting more pictures from Saturday's shoot. These kids were a lot of fun to photograph and I got my workout for the day as well. As I previously mentioned, photographing children IS HARD! But the results are very rewarding. Enjoy!

The Barry's

Today I photographed two little people with BIG personalities. My friend's niece and nephew were the adorable models. We went to a local park and the kids pretty much just did whatever they wanted. Seriously, even when trying to pose them even just a little....they still did whatever they wanted :P That's what kids do though!!! I commend all children's photographers because that job is tough! Anyway, I'm posting one image today since I have some editing to do before posting the rest. Aren't they cute?

The Mintastic Experience

On Saturday I had the great joy of being part of a workshop provided by Krystal Mann at Mint & Sage Photography. Me and a few other photographers joined Krystal to shoot and learn side by side with her during an actual real-life wedding! It was great. Afterwards, we all went back to her new studio to learn and discuss her post-processing and workflow. It was a great day and I learned a lot, but boy was I pooped at the end of the day. The night lasted well past my bedtime and 5:30AM Sunday came upon me very fast. Esmé cared nothing of my late night photofest and had no sympathy on me. Ah well. Anyway! Below are many pictures from the wedding. There are two images that show the Bride & Groom performing a 'feet washing'. It was very moving to see. Enjoy! As usual, please leave comments and constructive criticism. -Emily
